Recently the Eborian Men’s NT have had great success. In 2016, they won the continental honours – the CONCAFA Nations Cup (as hosts). They beat arch-rivals Marida 1-0 in the final. In 2017, they competed in the WEFA Intercontinental Champions Cup (IC3). They finished third, beating Spain on penalties in the the third-place playoff. In the Semi-Finals, they lost to eventual champions Chile.
Eboria won the CONCAFA section to qualify for the 2018 WEFA World Nations Cup. At the summer tournament they will likely be without star playmaker Matt Murphy, who severely injured his knee in August 2017. There is now doubt over striker Aaron Johnson, who injured his metatarsal in lat February and is out for 7-9 weeks.
Eboria will be looking to striker Roman Baric (below) to repeat his goal scoring feats of the past two summers in the World Nations Cup.
