Introducing the CONCAFA Unity League/ Lega Unidad(e)| CONCAFA
From 2018-19, a new club competition for domestic cup winners and teams just missing out on the Champions League will commence. The CONCAFA Unity League or Lega Unidad(e) will involve 16 teams.
Two teams from each country (apart from Anderland, who have one spot) will take part. For 2018-19, the last spot will be filled by CONCAFA’s Fair play league table- open to all seven top-flight leagues.
The teams will be placed into four groups of four, with double round-robin stage will take place on Thursday evenings on Champions League midweeks. The top two teams in each group advancing to the knock out stages (two-legged ties until the one-off final).
